     Trudi Canavan has hit the jackpot. She is a successful author, she's just signed a lucrative contract for four more books in her breakout debut success. And, most importantly she's becoming a better writer, a great entertainer. She's worked hard to be better. I don't read a lot of epic fantasy, but I read Trudi's first novel The Magician's Guild. The next book of hers I read is Voice of the Gods (Voyager, $20.99) and it is so much better that her first book! It is a great read. I especially like that Canavan is trying new things; her treatment of family relationships is enjoyable in the context of epic fantasy. Trudi adds a bright new dimension to fantasy. It is changing and adding to the genre. Well done Trudi keep up the good work.
