Two recent items of interest from the ABC include The Physics of the Impossible (audio) in which Dr Michio Kaku discusses the science fiction or science fact of such things as invisibility cloaks and teleportation, and 2050: a hypothetical future, a long (82 mins) video of a panel speculating about the world of our future, held at the UTS.

The most recent episode of Jennifer Byrne Presents, the supplemental show to The First Tuesday Book Club, was on "Brave New Worlds – Utopia and Dystopia in Literature" and featured panelists Emily Maguire, Max Barry, John Marsden, and Richard Neville discuss the works of Orwell, More, Shute, Huxley and many others.
